The Cape Town Association for the Physically Disabled launched the Buckets of Hope project in 2009 to address poverty and unemployment that many Physically Disabled people are faced with. With community support and assistance from dedicated volunteers, families receive buckets filled with essential food items. Their goal this year is to distribute 200 Buckets of Hope during the festive season and they require the community’s help to reach it. She highlights that people should not treat people with disabilities different and should not be exclude them from the community. I thank Fatima for being so dedicated and passionate about her work, which includes assisting people with disability in every possible.
