On Wednesday, Dries met up with UCT-professor Hedley Twidle to speak about his new book 'Experiments with Truth'. The book is a summary of case studies and analyses about a new wave of non-fiction and biographies considering South-Africa's remarkable and traumatic past. The interview was cut into a audio story. DUTCH 'Experimenten met waarheid’. Dat is het nieuwe boek van literatuur professor Hedley Twidle. Het is geen academisch boek, maar -zo zegt hij zelf- een liefdesbrief, gericht aan de golf van nieuwe biografieën en non-fictie over de geschiedenis van Zuid-Afrika. 
Het is woensdag 5 juni en vanavond stelt de auteur zijn nieuw boek voor in de Book Lounge in Kaapstad. Het regent en ik ontmoet Hedley net voor de voorstelling in een koffiebar in de buurt.

AFRIKAANS 'Experiment met waarheid'. Dit is die nuwe boek van literatuur by professor Hedley Twidle. Dit is geen akademiese boek nie, maar -so sê hy self, liewer n liefdesbrief, gerig aan die golf van nuwe biografieë en nie-fikse oor die geskiedenis van Suid-Afrika.
Dit is Woensdag 5 Junie en vanaand stel die outeur sy nuwe boek voor in die Book Lounge in Kaapstad. Dit reen en ek ontmoet Hedley net vir die voorstelling in 'n koffie kroeg in die omgewing.

ENGLISH 'Experiments with Truth'. That is the new book of Hedley Twidle, a literature professor at UCT. It is not an academic piece but rather a love letter to the new wave of biographies and non-fiction about South-Africa's history. It is Wednesday June 5th and tonight the author is presenting his new book at the Book Lounge. It is raining and I am meeting Hedley just right before the presentation in a coffee place down the road.

On the awake of the World Premature Day, the Tygerberg Hospital Children's Trust will have the World Preemie Day Fun Walk talking place On the sixteenth November at 07:00am for 08:00am.
