Mental health through providing hope and reconciliation

We spoke to Dr. John Parker director of the Spring Foundation/ Clinical Psychiatrist at Lentegeur Hospital, Jitsvinger musician and activist, Jack de Jong graffiti muralist and Nabeel Petersen project co-ordinator.

Arting 4 impact is a public engagement project consisting out of communities, street artist and scientist.

The project has been install in 3 different countries South Africa, India and Botswana. The aim of this initiative is to educate and raise awareness around mental health through providing hope and reconciliation rather then stigmatizing and discriminating people with mental illnesses.

They will paint a big mural that stay's in the community where people can engage and learn about mental health.
