Grass Boots Football Club

Carlos Manuel from the Grass Boots Football Club joined us for this week’s human rights edition of Sakhisizwe. The Grass Boots Football Club is the only SAFA registered soccer club in the Cape Town City Bowl.

Carlos spoke about his involvement in this community football club and elaborated on how it has impacted the community. He said the club’s mission is to foster local talent and provide opportunities for players to train and excel through soccer. He also emphasized on education and said that the organization believes all players should attend school in order to be a part of the club.
They will be embarking on a journey in Germany and are asking anyone to assist with the course in anyway, to make this trip possible for these youngsters.
