Real Ideas Sports Club & Be Your Dream

Today on Sakhisizwe we had two guests in the studio.

First we spoke to Xolisa, manager at the Real Ideas Sports Club. Which is an organisation that operates as a catalyst for change within the communities, as most boys here after coming back from school, have absolutely nothing to do rather than sitting out on the streets and experimenting with drugs.
Real Ideas Sports Club gives these boys a chance to play in a competitive football team during their spare time so it's used in a productive and meaningful way.

They are still looking for people willing to be apart of the organisation, specifically those keen to work with girls in the near future as well.

Later in the show we spoke to Afiba from Be Your Dream, a campaign that seeks to offer opportunities to disadvantaged matriculates who are unable to submit their applications for admission to Universities and potential sponsors on time.
They help students who have no acces to a computer to fill in their online applications, as well as help them make a properly informed decision on which course to sign up for.

Grade 11 students wanting to apply to the program can do so until the 30th of March using following contact details (please note 50 spots are available so a selection procedure will be used):
