I spoke to Busiswa Ndlalakulu from Sisanda Fundaytion.

Sisanda FunDaytion is a non-profit organisation working with volunteers to influence the lives of disadvantaged children in South Africa through recreation, education and inspirational fun.

They provide 3 free programmes to disadvantage children.

Fun Days
The Fun Day outreach model is sustainable, relatively inexpensive and emotionally rewarding. It also provides immediate results.

Circles
This programme sees a volunteer, who has a skill or passion or an idea to run a programme, providing ongoing and progressive skills training sessions to our beneficiaries.  The volunteers empower the children by running topical and relevant programmes from which the children can take away life skills or a new talent, passion or hobby.

Connect
Sisanda Youth Connect Programme focuses on connecting groups of senior school pupils as volunteers for primary school children. The children come from various cultures and backgrounds with the objective of building relationships and facilitating peer learning.
