Credit Bureau is an information hub when it comes to your accounts, as well as how often you shop. Credit Bureau monitors how good you pay your accounts in order to avoid debt. However it is the responsibility of the individual to make sure they have a good credit record by making regularly payments and it needs to be on time.

If you feel you have not been treated with the correct respect or have any inquires you can lay a complaint at the credit ombud.

According to the National Credit Act, every consumer has the right to one free credit report once in a 12 month period from the following credit bureaus being TransUnion (ITC), Experian, XDS and Compuscan. In order to obtain your free credit report you may contact the respective credit bureaus directly.
