Fighting Blindness

Today we had the pleasure to speak to Manny Moodley Chairperson of Retina SA and Sharon Jackson. 

World Retina Week, 18-24 September is observed in 42 countries to create awareness from blindness to sight for millions of people world wide with retinal blinding conditions.

Retina is a genetic condition that can affect anyone, that might be pass down by a family member. Depending on the genes. There is no age limit or time when one can be diagnose with retina condition.

Retina will be having a Music Concert fundraising event, taking place the 8 October 2016, @ Oude Molen Eco Village in Pinelands to raise awareness as well as funds for treatment for retinal blindness.
The theme is Ripped Genes.

Tickets cost R120.00 for adults and R60.00 for children.
