Simplifying the South African Labour Dispute System

We spoke to Nashira Abrahams - Dispute Management and Prevention Commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration or CCMA. We were talking about the South African Labour Dispute System and the CCMA. The CCMA is an independent organization that resolves labour disputes. Some form of conflict in the workplace is experienced in most if not all companies. When conflict arises, it is wise to call in a neutral person to mediate discussions. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese.
