Commission for Gender Equality is hosting a National Gender Summit

We spoke to Mfanozelwe Shozi - Chairperson of the Commission for Gender Equality about the National Gender Summit. The Summit will provide a platform for several discussions as a means to reflect on the 20 year period of democracy in South Africa, with specific reference to the gains attained and challenges facing the gender sector. Several policy and decision makers from South Africa and abroad, have been invited and expected to attend the conference. Some of them include former Deputy President of South Africa and the Executive Director of UN Women, Ms. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, and the Constitutional Court Justice, Sisi kampempe.
