Nomad Artiste Colony Cape Town is looking for poets

We closed off with JP Vorster – From Nomad Artiste Colony Cape Town. We were talking about the Spoken Word Showdown poetry and comedy competition. The battle for Spoken Word Showdown champion rages on at Quarter Final 2 on Mon 31st of March. Winners from the 4 Heats in Round 2 battle it out for a place in the Semi Final on the 30th of June. 1 comedian and 1 poet will advance and also walk away with R250 cash each. The Quarter Finals gets very full so it’s advisable to get your pre-sale tickets from www.nomadtickets.co.za to guarantee a seat or come early and take your chances at the door from 19:00PM. The Spoken Word Showdown is a poetry and comedy competition open to all semi-pro, amateur or first time performers. The competition runs all year, culminating in the Final on Mon 15th Dec 2014.
