We closed off with Mthuthuzeli Swartz – Metrorail regional manager.
According to Cape Metrorail, infrastructural
problems over this past weekend have led to the temporary closure of platforms
11-18 at Cape Town Station while technicians work to restore functionality.
Due to the closure of these platforms trains are being slotted in between the southern
trains, leading to delays. For more information and train updates follow @RMCapeMetrorail
