National Tooling Initiative Programme offers free study opportunities in manufacturing

We heard from Wendy Moolman – From Northlink FET College. We were talking about the National Tooling Initiative Programme. The National Tooling Initiative Programme has announced that free study opportunities for careers in manufacturing will be made available by the NTIP’s TDM Powered Programme to prospective students in Cape Town in October. The outcomes-based apprenticeship training will enable qualifying students to obtain a globally sought after qualification in toolmaking. Entry requirements are Grade 12 / NC(V)4 / N3 with required subjects: Mathematics, Physical Science/Engineering Science and English. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children.
