Bonteheuwel Men in Action to host a men’s camp

Paul August - From Bonteheuwel Men in Action was also Instudio to tell us more about their upcoming camp. The Bonteheuwel Men in Action under the banner of the Bonteheuwel Churches in Action comprises of men from the different fellowships that reaches out to their surrounding communities. The group engages in various community projects such as street lighting, illegal dumping cleaning, and refurbishing schools. They will be hosting a men’s camp from the 26th to the 28th of July, 2013 at the Simonsberg Christian Centre in Stellenbosch. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children.
