We closed off with Derek Kloppers of Concerned Pensioners from across the Western Cape. We were talking about
their upcoming march to Parliament in a bid to hand over a memorandum and petition containing
their grievances on Tuesday April 30th at 11AM . This follows after
collecting 2 500 signatures from concerned pensioners across the province
since November last year who are disgraced by the government’s pension of
R1 260. The march is expected to start in Keizergracht Street and will proceed up Plein Street . All trains are free
for pensioners on Tuesdays. For further information you can contact Derek on
(021) 761 7133 or 073 521 0431.
