Lonwabo Busakwe
On the show today, we were joined by Lonwabo Busakwe - Journalist, Activist and Musician. We were talking about the late Chinua Achebe and how his writings influenced Lonwabo. Nigerian born Chinua Achebe is one of the most highly known African authors and many critics saw him as a visionary, while others saw him as a voice for the Nigerian culture, giving him the reputation as the “father of the African novel in English.” The world is mourning the passing of Professor Achebe, who died at age 82 last month. For more information about Lonwabo follow him on twitter

We also heard from Yugendree Naidoo with this week's Arts Update.
