Labour - Elsenburg training prospective farmers

On Sakhisizwe today, we heard from Hlumisa Mnyazi - A second year student in animal production and agrarian at the Cape Institute for Agricultural Training: Elsenburg. We were talking about the college. Under the Western Cape Department of Agriculture in partnership with the University of Stellenbosch The Cape Institute for Agricultural Training: Elsenburg is in the business of training prospective farmers which is in line with government’s new academic policy to give tertiary students more mobility between educational institutions. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese.
