On Sakhisizwe today, we spoke to Llewellyn Landers - Chairperson of Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on
Justice and Constitutional Development about their call for
South African Human Rights Commission nominations. Parliament’s Portfolio Committee
on Justice and Constitutional Development is calling on individuals, organisations,
institutions and civil society to nominate suitable people for consideration as
Commissioners at SAHRC. The nominees must be South
African citizens who are fit and proper to serve on the SAHRC and in addition
possess suitable qualifications, expertise and experience in the area of human
rights.
Nominations must reach:
