Health - this week marks Brain Awareness Week

In today's show, we were joined by Jan Webster – Director of ComaCARE. We were talking about what they do for patients with brain injuries. ComaCARE is a Non-Profit Organization made up of motivated individuals; including health professionals, family members and care givers, who wish to improve and enhance the level of coma care in our society. This week marks Brain Awareness Week and the global campaign aims to increase public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research by uniting with partner organizations worldwide in celebration of the brain through events and outreach to people of all ages. The campaign also aims to increase community awareness of the potential for improving the long-term health of the brain through lifestyle changes and risk-reduction strategies. For more information or maybe if you have a loved who is on coma and would like them to help you contact Comacare at 0860 110 111 or check www.comacare.com
