Gender - Cover2Cover Books launches “From Boys to Men”

On the show today, we spoke to Dorothy Dyer – From Cover2Cover Books. Dorothy is the co-author of “From Boys to Men” - a youth novel in the Harmony High series. The novel is the result of a collaborative project as part of Sonke’s One Man Can campaign which is an initiative implemented in many sites and projects, such as Fatherhood, Access to Justice project, Prisons project, Refugee health and rights project and medical male circumcision to name a few. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese.
