We heard from Mr Enver Moothoosamy - Grants Manager at the Foundation for Human Rights. He was
speaking to us about the Sustainability Workshop they are hosting tomorrow in Cape Town in partnership with the Department of Justice and Constitutional
Development on the Access to Justice and promotion of Constitutional Rights
Programme funded by the European Union. The Sustainability
Workshop seeks to bring together government, donor organizations and civil
society to deliberate on the apparent changing global funding environment and
the role of non-government and community based organizations. The results of a
recent survey conducted by FHR to ascertain whether South African CBO and NGOs
funding is indeed in serious crisis would also be tabled for discussion. For
further information you can contact the FHR on (011) 339 5560 or send an email
to info@fhr.org.za alternatively visit www.fhr.org.za
