Zip Zap Circus School to host a free show on World AIDS Day

We closed off with Brent van Rensburg – Zip Zap circus school co-founder and artistic director. Zip Zap Circus School is the oldest circus in Cape Town and the only social circus in South Africa. In line with the World AIDS Day on 1st December 2012, Zip Zap Circus is performing with children from their HIV/AIDS outreach programme, Ibhongolethu and other social groups. The show is an annual Zip Zap Circus School production in partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières and Cirque du Soleil. The performance aims to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and to encourage an attitude of acceptance and understanding in the community. It’s happening on the 1st of December 2012 from 10AM to 3PM with the Zip Zap Circus School performing at 12PM at the Oliver Thambo Hall, corner of Mew Way and Lansdowne Road in Khayelitsha.
