ember those who lost their lives on the roads of the world. Drive More Safely aims to educate road users using campaigns, educational literature, motivational talks and a fully equipped training centre for learner drivers. It urges government to put the same amount of urgency into road safety as they did for the past 20 odd years for HIV/AIDS because road crashes is stealing future leaders and nothing is being said about this. Individuals can make a difference by committing to the following 10 Road Safety commitments to use a seatbelt, Wear a helmet on a motorcycle, Drive at a safe speed suitable for the conditions, Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, Not use a mobile phone when driving, Be visible as a pedestrian or cyclist, Know and respect traffic laws, Maintain the vehicle in a good condition, Be licensed and trained for the vehicle you drive and Know how to react in case of a crash.
