Clevva gets awarded for Best Innovation

We closed off with Ryan Falkenberg - CEO of Clevva. He was speaking to us about how technology is the key to creating employment opportunities for grade 12 and graduating students. Clevva is a Proudly South African company that has developed a decision support platform specifically designed for sales professionals. Mr Falkenberg explained why the traditional approach to training that we have been following is no longer a working or viable option and why we need to look and embrace technology to turn raw, inexperienced students into workplace challengers that add value to their businesses. Clevva recently walked away with the Business Process Enablement South Africa’s Industry Award for Best Innovation for creating a product that revolutionises Call Centres which is a major employer of school leaving South Africans. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese.
