In today's show, we spoke to Dr
Tamara Kerbelker - Senior Registrar at UCT's Division of Paediatric Allergy. We were
talking about how best to manage allergic reactions. The abundance of flowering trees, grasses and even weeds, often
means sneezes, runny noses, wheezing and itchy eyes for many of us and
therefore change of seasons can be particularly trying as up to 20%
of South Africans suffer from allergic reactions, according to the Allergy
Society of South Africa. For more information contact (021) 447 9019 or visit www.allergysa.org
