We also heard from Meghan
Judge – Facilitator of the Greatmore Studios Animation workshop. The workshop
is for advancing artists who want to branch out and experiment with new ways in
which to explore their existing artwork. The workshop runs over four Saturdays
and covers an introduction to animation; the basic technical breakdowns of
working with movement and timing; experimenting with stop motion techniques;
using a light box to develop knowledge of stacked-layering for scene movement;
and editing your footage for film. For more information please contact info@greatmoreart.org
Nigel Vermaas was instudio for this week's Arts Update.
