Saunders - PRO internal communications and corporate affairs manager for Avon
Justine. She was speaking to us about their iThemba Walkathon that’s open for
registration. Avon Justine will be hosting the iThemba Walkathon again this
year which aims to generate massive awareness of breast cancer in South Africa as breast cancer
survivors in their pink sashes will lead the walk. Last year saw a record of 12
000 participants in Cape Town and a whopping 15
000 participants in Johannesburg . The day will offer
amenities and facilities such as food stalls, with fun activities for children
including toddlers and various display stalls including a stand for special
pink iThemba products that will be available. In addition there will also be
some exciting live entertainment and as always participants that wear the most
visually appeal pink outfits will stand a chance to win spot prizes. You can

R85 per adult and R60 per child over 12.
