SAMA’s Committee for Public Sector Doctors hosts 2nd annual conference

We also heard from Dr Phophi Ramathuba - Chairperson of the South African Medical Association Committee for Public Sector Doctors. SAMA’s Committee for Public Sector Doctors held its 2nd annual conference last weekend, discussing issues such as management problems in the public healthcare sector and equipment shortcomings at some of the country’s major public hospitals. Ex SAMA Chairperson, Dr Norman Mabasa was the Guest Speaker and recounted some of his experiences to date and his plans for the way forward in meeting the healthcare challenges in Limpopo since being appointed MEC in mid March.
