Real Youth International to host Township High School Basketball Clinics & Arts update

We also heard from Dumisani Wambi – Co-Founder of Real Youth International. Real Youth International uses sports to assist youth to manifest their aims, visions and develop confidence in themselves. On the 06th to the 08th of August they will be hosting the Township High School Basketball Clinics in Khayelitsha at the O.R. Tambo Sports Centre. The programme has been in progress since 2010, overshadowed by lack of resources, therefore limiting learner participation. They urge the schools to nominate a staff candidate to take part in the first day of the event, to learn the basics of the sports, coaching techniques and rules for potential coaching positions in schools or to make a prompt communication with Grade 8 learners who participated earlier this year, and those interested to register their names with the school's sports master.
