We heard from Colleen Isaacs - of Phenomenal Women. She was speaking to us about their
upcoming weekend boot camp. Phenomenal Women was established in 2009 by Amanda
Sickle to provide a holistic community service to support
women who have experienced trauma, hardship, bereavement or challenges related
to single parenting and generate awareness among all members and communities
regarding STD /HIV/AIDS and other related
diseases. It also stimulates entrepreneurship, self-reliance and economic
stability among women, and facilitates the rebuilding and restoration of women
so that they shift from dependence to independence, from victim to victor. The boot camp is happening on the 28th of September at R300 per person. For further information you can contact Colleen on 083 482 4479 or Amanda on
082 474 0951.
