Enablis South Africa awarded Jobs Fund Grant

We closed off the show with an interview with Victor Mzimela - Enablis South Africa Regional Director. We were talking about the Enablis grant from the Development Bank of Southern Africa’s Jobs Fund. Enablis has been awarded a grant under the Enterprise Development window of the Fund to support 2,500 entrepreneurs across South Africa over the next three years. Enablis is a Canadian-based non profit organisation that supports entrepreneurs in the developing world through its member-driven network, called Enablis Entrepreneurial Network. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children.
