04 May - Arts, Culture & Environment - Iziko to host Museum Training for Youth Programme

In today's show, we spoke to Pamela Court - Acting Public Programmes Coordinator at Iziko Museums. We were talking about the Museum Training for Youth Programme. Iziko Museums is offering a sponsored three-week Museum Training for Youth Programme, which includes theory, practical work, and museum project work. The trainee will receive training in museology. Applicants must have a matric certificate and an interest in working with diverse museum audiences and in a museum environment. The 30 successful applicants are required to attend all daily sessions, from 14 May to 1 June 2012. Transport allowance will be offered. To apply for the three-week Training Programme please send: covering application letter, a signed CV (with names and contact details of two referees), certified qualification certificates and certified copy of ID
