Our last interview was with Cameron Jacobs - Senior Researcher at the South African Human Rights Commission. The commission will be hosting public hearings on water and sanitation tomorrow, the 14th of March 2012, at 6 Spin Street opposite Parliament from 08h30-14h30. The discussants will analyse the Department of Performance Monitoring and Evaluation’s report on the status of water and sanitation in the country, receive input from the Makhaza community and consider preliminary findings from the other provinces. The Commission will also launch its 2012-13 campaign to ensure accelerated service delivery of this right.
