Enkululekweni Wellness Centre promotes preventative health
We also spoke to Helen Lieberman – Founder of Ikamva Labantu. Ikamva Labantu is one of South Africa’s longest standing social development NGO’s and last month they launched the Enkululekweni Wellness Centre in Khayelitsha. The Centre forms part of the organisation’s community health programme which focuses on empowering communities to embrace preventative health as opposed to struggling with avoidable chronic and acute health problems. For more information you can contact their offices on (021) 461 8338 or visit www.ikamva.org.za
