Westcott Primary School wins Vitality Healthy School Competition
We also spoke to John Robertson - Principal at Westcott Primary School, the winning school of the Vitality Healthy School Competition. The programme promotes physical activity and good nutrition to learners. Schools participating in the programme agree to initiate health promoting creative and sustainable activities to promote a healthy balanced lifestyle. The school with the healthiest initiatives wins a prize and gets announced as the school with the healthiest initiatives in South Africa for 2011. Mr Robertson explained more about their programme.
