Today is World Diabetes Day
We closed off the show with an interview with Margot McCumisky - from Diabetes South Africa. We were talking about diabetes and what can be done to lead a normal life if you suffer from diabetes. Today is World Diabetes Day. World Diabetes Day is the primary global awareness campaign of the diabetes world. It was introduced in 1991 by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in response to the alarming rise in diabetes around the world. On Saturday Diabetes SA will host the Global Diabetes Run/Walk at the South Forecourt, Cape Town Stadium - between the Stadium and the Green Point Urban Park in Sonnenberg Road. From 07h00AM – 12h00PM. If you would like more information, contact (021) 425 4440 or visit www.diabetessa.co.za
