Tenderden House gets a thumbs-up from visitors
We also heard from Barbara Booysen – Facility Manager of Tenderden House, a place of safety for vulnerable children based in Wynberg. Last week, Western Cape MEC of Social Development, Albert Fritz led a US delegation of senators and representatives from the National Conference of State Legislatures on a visit to Tenterden House. The delegation visited to share international best practises on how to handle issues faced by the children. According to the MEC, the representatives were very impressed with the standards and level of activities that Tenterden uses to enable children to develop in a positive environment. Barbara explained more about their services. For more information contact their offices on (021) 761 2554.
