Ethical Living mag launched

We closed off the show with an interview with Peter Townshend – Editor of Ethical Living. Ethical Living is a new magazine aimed at the engaged and caring South African consumer. The magazine notes that purchasing decisions are becoming more influenced by issues such as climate change, fairtrade, animal welfare and good governance, and therefore seeks to educate consumers about the roles companies are playing with regard to these issues. The first issue of Ethical Living is on sale at leading retailers and it looks at Personal Computers and a range of specific issues in this regard. For South Africa’s wealthy, computers are the ultimate consumer product: They represent status, have multiple uses, reflect personal identity, can be modified and upgraded, and most importantly, need to be regularly replaced in order to run the latest software. This makes the computer market ideal as the focus of Ethical Living’s first Buyers’ Guide. For more information visit www.ethicalliving.co.za or contact their offices on (011) 788 6369.
