09 November - Gender - Artscape Women’s Festival Director gives feedback
On Sakhisizwe today, we were joined by Marlene Le Roux – Director of Artscape Audience Development and Education. We were talking about the Annual Artscape Women’s Festival. The 5th annual Women's Festival took place in August with the theme Equal Justice. After 15 years of democracy, the country women's empowerment was evaluated. Professionals in the field made up the panel at the festival, they were asked to give feedback on 10 obstacles that’s getting in the way of gender equality.
