UCT medical students promotes Mental Health Awareness

And we also spoke to Farai Mabunda and Sameshan Pather - 4th year medical student at the University of Cape Town. We were talking about Mental Health Awareness. Farai and her colleagues are completing a project in Public Health. Their project focuses on the protection, promotion and restoration, of the health of the population through collective and social action. The primary objective is to educate the community, but they are hoping to stimulate debate around this controversial topic which is highly stigmatized in many communities.
