05 July - Human Rights - Not for Sale campaign takes a stand against human trafficking
According to the Not for Sale campaign there are more than 30 million slaves in the world today, more than at any other point in human history. The Not for Sale campaign is an international initiative focusing on detecting and providing support for victims of human trafficking. Not for Sale South Africa is an extension of this campaign. The initiative works closely with local law enforcement to "promote Not For Sale’s Investigation and Training techniques that promote smart and safe activism, leading to measurable results". Saskia Wishart – Not for Sale South Africa Director, joined us on the line to talk about the work they do. To report incidents of human trafficking contact 0800 555 999 or visit www.notforsalecampaign.org for more information.
