In today’s edition we featured proudly South African clothing and accessory label, Me’Kasi. We spoke to Maninho Diaz, a co-designer of the label. Maninho spoke about the label and its greater cause. Me'Kasi, an income generating initiative of the Beth Uriel home, teaches its young residents business and production skills to empower and equip them with the necessary competencies to be the future leaders of South Africa. To view or purchase merchandise, you can download a form at www.mekasi.co.za or pop in at their store at 289 Victoria Road , Salt River.
We also crossed over to Walter Daniels, co-ordinator of a Youth Day event, that took place in Bokmakierie. The event was hosted by several community based organisations in the Bokmakierie/Hazendal area. The event was aimed at sharing messages of positivity and upliftment to the youth.
