World Kidney Day - “Protect Your Kidneys and Save Your Heart”

We also heard from Sister Rasieda Samai – from the National Kidney Foundation of South Africa. We were talking about kidneys. This coming Thursday is the World Kidney Day. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Protect Your Kidneys and Save Your Heart.” It is reported that 1 out of 10 adults in the world has some form of kidney damage. It is therefore crucial that we learn how important our kidneys are in our lives. Sister Samai explained more. On Thursday she will be at the Mitchell's Plain Promenade to do screenings.
