SANGOCO to host a dialogue on Women’s Rights
We also heard from Ruwayda Mohamed – from SANGOCO. Tomorrow, 17th March 2011 they will be hosting a Dialogue with the topic ‘Women’s Rights Are Human Rights’. According to the organisers, "women's human rights" is a revolutionary notion in that this radical reclamation of humanity and the resultant insistence that women's rights are human rights have profound transformative potential. The event will be held at the Centre for the Book, 62 Queen Victoria Street in Cape Town from 18h30 - 20h30PM. If you want more information contact their offices on (021) 447 6388 or Tamsyn Abrahams on 072 070 3119 and Sinethemba Shoba on 082 074 7882.
