Plans for the 2011 Stop Gangsterism & Crime Educational Festival underway
We were also joined by Chumisa Maphambana, Nozee and Sista ZoĆ© – Organisers of the 2011 Stop Gangsterism & Crime Educational Festival. The festival will be on the 26th & 27th of March in Gugulethu. They say due to the lack of recreational activities available to young people, many of them become involved in self-destructive activities such as gangsterism and crime. Through their initiatives intervention, they will be able to involve the youth in healthy and positive activities, which will keep them away from these negative influences and help them to become responsible young leaders in the community, as well as role models to their peers. For more information contact Chumisa on 084 808 3313.
