17 March - Labour - Department of Labour to host National Child Labour Day
On Sakhisizwe today, we heard from Ivan Polson - Senior Labour Inspector from the department of labour. We were talking about National Child Labour Day. The Department of Labour will host a National Child Labour Day on the 4th of April to highlight the problem of child labour and to also create awareness about child labour in line with the international approach in dealing with child labour and its associated ills. The theme is "LET ME BE A CHILD". The event will take place at Spier Country Estate. For more information or to report cases of child labour, contact (021) 468 5500.
