French Festival explores language, culture & identity
We also heard from Graziella Laude - Cultural Coordinator at the Alliance Française of Cape Town. We were talking about the French arts and culture festival. The festival opens on the 3rd March at the French Residence with a French Cabaret-Style concert by the legendary Danièle Pascal. The Alliance Française du Cap will present its ‘Encounters of Peoples and Mixing Cultures’ programme at this event. Several events have been prepared with the central theme of ‘Encounters of Peoples and Mixing Cultures’. This includes a literature café, film screenings, musical evenings, talks, debates, exhibitions and a few other items. For more information visit www.alliance.org.za or contact (021) 423 5699, alternatively send an email to culture.cpt@alliance.org.za
