16 February - Gender - Soroptimist International Cape of Good Hope Club invites women to build bridges of peace
In today’s show, we were joined on the line by Lisette Gensberger – President of Soroptimist International Cape of Good Hope Club. Soroptimist International is a worldwide organisation for individuals in management and professions, working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. On the 8th of March the Cape of Good Hope Club will be celebrating International Women’s Day by hosting a Stronger Women Build Bridges of Peace and are inviting all women and girls to stand in solidarity, recognising all women in war torn countries. So on the 8th of March join them from 11AM at Fan Walk Bridge in Cape Town, at the Holiday Inn Eastern Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge.
