This week is CPR Week
We closed off the show with an interview with Dr Heike Geduld – Metro Emergency Medical Services Medic. We were talking about CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation. CPR is an emergency procedure performed if someone has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped and this week is the CPR week, so Dr Geduld explained more about the role of the lay rescuer/first-aider. The emergency number is 10177 or visit www.metroems.org.za for more information on CPR.
