November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month

And I also played a feature on a Lung Cancer Awareness event I attended. November is Lung Cancer Awareness month. To mark the occasion and raise Awareness of the disease, Matrixads, an advertising agency based here in Cape Town on behalf of Roche Products organised a rather scorching Lung Caner Awareness Campaign last week Thursday. Wally Abrahams – Firefighter for 25 years who suffers from a Lung disease, also got an opportunity to share his story. According to Oncologist Dr Jacqui Hall, even though the most common cause of lung cancer is smoking there is also a genetic factor in some cases. For more information go to www.cansa.org.za or the global lung cancer coalition at www.lungcancercoalition.org
